To be eligible for the Junior Scientist position, you must have a Master's Degree in Microbiology, Clinical Microbiology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Bacteriology, Pharmacology, Serology, Molecular Biology, or Physiology from a recognized University/Institution.

What experience is required for the Junior Scientist role?

You need a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Quality Control Testing of Biologicals and Biotherapeutics.
• Review of Technical Dossiers of Biologicals and Biotherapeutics, including aspects like Chemistry Manufacturing Control (CMC), non-clinical trial data on Animal Pharmacology/Animal Toxicology, and Clinical Trial data.
• Review of Technical Dossiers of ‘In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) Medical Devices' to ensure they meet Essential Principles of Safety and Performance, covering product description, design, manufacturing information, performance specifications, validation studies, labelling, and regulatory history.
• Evaluation & Review of Adverse Events, specifically:
  • Following Immunization (AEFI)
  • Associated with Biologicals and Biotherapeutics (Pharmacovigilance)
  • Associated with blood transfusion and blood products administration (Hemovigilance)
  • Due to indirect harm associated with IVD Medical Devices (Materiovigilance)
• Management of Quality System using ISO: 17025 and ISO: 34, with a Total Quality Management approach.
• Research in Biologicals and Biotherapeutics.

Is there any desirable qualification for this post?

Yes, having at least 1 publication or an article in indexed journals in any of the mentioned fields of qualification or experience is desirable.
