What is the Professor (New Media) job?
This is a regular teaching position at the Professor level in the Department of New Media at the Central University of Himachal Pradesh.
What is the minimum educational qualification?
The candidate must hold a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and have published work of high quality. Additionally, the candidate must be actively engaged in research with evidence of published work, a minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals, and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 of the UGC Regulations, 2018.
What is the experience required?
A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in a university/college and/or research experience at the university/national level institution, including experience of guiding research at the doctoral level, with outstanding performing achievement in the field of specialisation.
What is the pay scale?
The post is in Academic Level-14 with a pay range of Rs. 1,44,200/- to Rs. 2,18,200/-.
