The Manager (Law) is responsible for drafting, vetting, and executing legal documents related to project financing. This includes conducting legal due diligence for loan proposals, projects, and promoters, as well as handling property titles. The role also involves in-depth knowledge of applicable corporate/commercial legislations and expertise in areas like DRT/Civil/Criminal Courts/NCLT and arbitration proceedings in financial institutions. A core competence in analyzing various legal and security packages related to project financing is desirable. The incumbent must be capable of independently handling all documentation activities.
What are the essential qualifications for a Manager (Law)?
Candidates must have completed a Graduate degree with an LLB (3 years duration) or a 5 years integrated Law Course from a recognized University/Institution. Additionally, 04 years of experience in an executive level is required, with at least 01 year of experience in the scale of Pay of Rs.50000-160000 or equivalent. This experience should be in the area of Legal Services within Financial Institutions, NBFCs, Public Sector Organizations, or Joint ventures of PSEs/Central Govt/State Govt/Private Sector. The CTC should not be below Rs.29.18 Lakhs per year for candidates currently working in the Private Sector. Experience in Listed Organizations and experience in ERP applications are preferable.
