What is the role of a Deputy Engineer (Design & Engineering) at HMT?

This is a technical role focused on the design, development, and quality assurance of food processing machinery. You will be responsible for creating mechanical designs using CAD software, developing machine components, and ensuring all products meet technical specifications through rigorous inspection processes.

What are the educational qualifications required?

Candidates must possess a 4-years full-time regular Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Production discipline from a recognized University/College/Institute. A minimum of 60% aggregate marks is required, which is relaxed to 50% for SC/ST candidates. Proficiency in Computer Skills is essential.

Is any prior experience needed?

Yes, candidates must have a minimum of 02 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

What is the nature of this job?

This is a Fixed Term Appointment (FTA) for a period of two years, which may be extended for a maximum of two additional years on a yearly basis, subject to performance.
