What is the minimum educational qualification?

Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering AND a Master of Engineering/Master of Technology in Electrical Engineering (Power System/Electrical Engineering (Electronics & Power)/Electrical Instrumentation and Control Engineering/Electrical Power & Energy systems/Electrical Power Engineering/Electrical Power System/High Voltage and Power Systems Engineering/Power Electronics/Power Electronics and Power Systems/Power Electronics and Systems/Power Electronics Engineering/Power System and Control/Power System and Control Automation/Power System with Emphasis H. V. Engineering/Power System and Automation/Power Systems and Power Electronics/Power Systems Control and Automation Engineering/Power Systems Engineering) with first class or equivalent in either degree.

What is the age limit?

The maximum age limit is 40 years for SC candidates.

What is the selection process?

Selection is based on the criteria set by the UPSC, which may include a Recruitment Test (RT) followed by an interview.
