What are the key responsibilities for a General Manager (Projects)?

The incumbent will be responsible for leading and managing major functions of the Energy Sector / Renewable Energy Sector. This includes dealing with Project Appraisal, Planning, Evaluation and Monitoring. The role is within Financial Institutions/ NBFCs/ Public Sector Organizations/ Joint ventures of PSEs/Central Govt/ State Govt/ Private Sector.

What is the required educational qualification for this post?

The essential educational qualification is a B.E / B.Tech. / B. Sc. Engineering from a Recognized University/Institution. Additionally, a Post Graduate Qualification viz. M.Tech., MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Management or equivalent in Finance / Environment discipline from a Recognized University/Institution is also required.

What is the minimum experience required for this role?

The role requires 20 years of experience in executive level and a minimum of 01 (one) year of present working experience in the Scale of Pay of Rs.100000-260000 and above or equivalent. This experience should be in the area of Energy Sector / Renewable Energy Sector, dealing with Project Appraisal, Planning, Evaluation and Monitoring in Financial Institutions/ NBFCs/ Public Sector Organizations/ Joint ventures of PSES/Central Govt/ State Govt/ Private Sector.

What is the CTC for this position?

The CTC should not be below Rs. 52.27 Lakhs per year for candidates presently working in Private Sector.

Are there any desirable qualifications or experience?

Yes, a desirable qualification is an LLB from a Recognized University/ Institution. Experience in Listed Organizations and experience in ERP applications is also preferable.

The maximum age limit is 52 years as on the closing date of application (3rd April 2026).
