What is the Assistant Research Officer job profile?
The Assistant Research Officer is responsible for conducting experiments related to mineral beneficiation and characterization. Key duties include preparing feed samples, sampling products, assisting in the processing and documentation of data, and updating modules of the Mineral Tracking System (MTS).
What is the minimum educational qualification for this job?
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Ore Dressing, Mineral Processing, Geology, Physics, or Chemistry from a recognized university or institution. Alternatively, candidates with a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree in Mineral Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Metallurgy are also eligible.
Is any experience required for this post?
Yes, candidates must have at least 02 years of experience in conducting mineral beneficiation or mineral characterization for the beneficiation of various ores and minerals from a recognized laboratory or beneficiation plant.
What is the age limit for this recruitment?
The age limit is 30 years for UR candidates and 33 years for OBC candidates. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.
What is the pay scale for this position?
