What are the essential qualifications for the Deputy Director (Pharmacy) post?

To be eligible for the Deputy Director (Pharmacy) position, you must possess a degree in Ayurveda or Pharmacy from a recognized institute or university. Additionally, you need a recognized Postgraduate degree in Rasashasthra and Bhaishajya Kalpana or Dravyaguna discipline of Ayurveda, or an M. Pharma (Ayurveda) degree from a recognized university/institute, or an M. Sc. (Medicinal Plants) degree with a bachelor's in Ayurveda background from a recognized university/institute.

What is the required experience for this role?

The role requires six years of experience in Teaching/industry/pharmacy within a recognized institution in the concerned subject. This experience must be obtained after acquiring the qualifying degree of M.D. Ayu, or M. Pharma Ayu. or M.Sc. (Medicinal Plants). Alternatively, six years of research experience as a full-time researcher after obtaining a Postgraduate qualification in any subject of Ayurveda from a Central Government or State Government or Union Territory or University or National Institutions or NABL accredited Research Laboratory is also acceptable.

Are there any desirable qualifications for the Deputy Director (Pharmacy) position?

Desirable qualifications include a Ph.D. degree in any concerned/relevant discipline. Furthermore, having five (05) research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC Care listed journals and a total research/academic score of 120 as per UGC Regulations 2018 or latest recommendations is also desirable. Candidates must also be registered with the concerned council.
