What are the essential qualifications for the Medical stream?

For the Medical stream, candidates must possess an MBBS degree from an MCI recognized Medical College. Additionally, a PG Medical degree in specific fields like Microbiology, Biochemistry, Immunohematology & Blood Transfusion, Pharmacology, Bacteriology, Serology, or Hematology from a recognized University is required. A minimum of five years of relevant experience after acquiring the essential qualification is also mandatory.

What are the essential qualifications for the Non-Medical stream?

For the Non-Medical stream, candidates need a Master's degree in Microbiology, Clinical Microbiology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Bacteriology, Physiology, Pharmacology, Serology, or Molecular Biology from a recognized University with at least 60% marks. They must also have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in areas such as Quality Control Testing of Biologicals and Biotherapeutics, review of Technical Dossiers, evaluation of Adverse Events, or management of Quality Systems (ISO: 17025 and ISO: 34). Alternatively, a Ph.D. in the mentioned disciplines with three years of relevant experience after acquiring the Ph.D. is also accepted.

What is the desirable qualification for this post?

Candidates with at least 5 publications or articles in Indexed Journals in the fields of qualification or experience are considered desirable.
