What is the Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil/Electrical) Job Profile?

The Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) plays a critical role in the Institute Works Department (IWD). You will be responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and maintaining the Institute's building assets, including roads, civil infrastructure, and electrical installations. Your duties include technical evaluation of cost estimates, preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPR), site monitoring, and ensuring time-bound completion of projects.

What is the Educational Qualification required?

Candidates must possess a Graduate degree (First class Bachelor’s Degree) in Civil or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.

What is the Experience required?

Candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant experience in Pay Level-7 or above as an Assistant Engineer in the field of construction of Institutional Buildings, maintenance, designing, and planning of civil/electrical works as per CPWD norms.

Is there any age limit?

The upper age limit for this post is 40 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India norms.
