What is this recruitment notification for?

This recruitment notification is for unmarried male candidates for the Indian Army. It is for the selection test for Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant / Nursing Assistant (Veterinary) and Sepoy Pharma for the Recruiting Year 2027.

Who is eligible to apply?

The eligibility criteria are different for each post. Generally, candidates need to have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with specific subjects and minimum marks. For Sepoy Pharma, a D.Pharma or B.Pharma qualification is required.

What are the educational qualifications for Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant / Nursing Assistant (Veterinary)?

Candidates must have passed 10+2/Intermediate in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and at least 40% marks in each subject. Alternatively, a 10+2/Intermediate in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and at least 40% marks in each subject is also accepted.

What are the educational qualifications for Sepoy Pharma?

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination and qualified in D.Pharma with a minimum of 55% in aggregate and registered with the State Pharmacy Council / Pharmacy Council of India. Individuals qualified in B.Pharma with a minimum of 50% marks and registered with the State Pharmacy Council / Pharmacy Council of India will also be eligible.

What is the age limit for the posts?

For Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant (NA/NA Vet), the age limit is 17½ - 23 years. Candidates should be born between 01 Jul 2004 to 01 Jul 2009 (both days inclusive). For Sepoy Pharma, the age limit is 19-25 years. Candidates should be born between 01 Jul 2002 to 01 Jan 2008 (both days inclusive).

Are candidates awaiting results eligible to apply?

Yes, candidates who have appeared in their Class 12th Board Exam and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, provided they fulfill all other eligibility criteria. However, they will only be selected when they produce their original marksheet during Phase II of the recruitment process.

What are the physical standards?

Physical standards include Height, Weight, and Chest measurements. Specific requirements are detailed in the notification. For example, for Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant (Sol Tech NA) & Sepoy Pharma, the height requirement is 163 cm for HP and 170 cm for Haryana. Chest measurement is 77 cm with 5 cm expansion. Weight standards are based on height and age, with detailed charts provided.

Are there any relaxations in physical standards?

What is the application fee?

The examination fee is Rs 250/- per applicant. Payment can be made through Maestro, Master Card, VISA, Rupay Cards (Credit & Debit), Internet Banking of HDFC and other banks, or UPI.

How is the selection process conducted?

The recruitment process will be conducted in two phases: Phase-I will be an Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) and Phase-II will be a Recruitment Rally. Candidates who qualify in the CEE will be shortlisted for the rally.

What does Phase-I of the recruitment process involve?

Phase-I is the Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE). Candidates need to report to the examination center with a color printout of their Admit Card. The exam will be objective Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) based. The number of questions and duration will vary by category (50 questions in one hour or 100 questions in two hours). The exam will be conducted in 13 languages.

What documents are required for Phase-II (Recruitment Rally)?

Shortlisted candidates need to report to the designated Recruitment Rally venue with original documents and two attested photocopies. Required documents include Admit Card, Photographs, Education Certificates, Domicile/Nativity/Permanent Residence Certificate, Caste Certificate, Religion Certificate, Police Character Certificate, School Character Certificate, Character Certificate, Unmarried Certificate, Relationship Certificate (if applicable), NCC Certificate, Sports Certificate, Affidavit, PAN Card & AADHAR Card, and Tattoo certificates (if applicable).

What are the physical fitness tests during the Recruitment Rally?

The Physical Fitness Test includes a 1.6 Km Run (to be completed within 6 min 15 secs), Beam (Pull Ups) (minimum 06), 9 Feet Ditch, and Zig-Zag Balance.

What is the medical examination process?

Candidates who qualify in the Physical Fitness Test and Physical Measurement Test will undergo a Medical Examination by the Army Medical Team at the rally site. Candidates found medically unfit will be given an opportunity for a review by a Specialist at a Military Hospital/Base Hospital/Command Hospital within 21 days.

What are the important instructions for candidates?

Candidates must report on time, carry all required documents, adhere to dress code (clean-shaven, except Sikh candidates), and avoid touts. They must also ensure their personal email ID and mobile number are active and correct. Any change in policy or details will be intimated on the official website.
