What are the educational qualification requirements?

- AOCP Trade: Attendant Operator Chemical Plant
- Feeder Trades: IMCP, MMCP, LACP, Process Plant Operator, Fitter General, Machinist, Turner, Sheet Metal Worker, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Boiler Attendant, Mechanic Industrial Electronics, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic.
Priority Criteria for Selection:
- Priority 1: Candidates having AOCP Trade Apprentices of Ordnance Factories, AOCP Trade Apprentices from Govt./Private organizations having affiliation from Government.
- Priority 2: If required numbers are not met, candidates from other feeder streams (IMCP, MMCP, PPO, Fitter, Machinist, Turner, etc.) Trade Apprentices of Ordnance Factories and Govt./Private organizations having Government affiliation will be considered.

What is the Selection Process for DBW Tenure Posts?
Selection is based purely on merit derived from NCVT/NCTVT marks and a Trade Test/Practical Test.
- Selection based on Marks of NAC Mark sheet and Trade Test/Practical test only, in the order of Merit.
- Candidates qualifying in the NCTVT (NAC) and Trade Test/Practical test will be called for Document Verification in the order of Merit.
- Trade Test/ Practical test will be of 100 marks.
- Weightage of Marks: NCTVT (NAC) Exam (80%) and Trade test/Practical test (20%).
- Document Verification: Candidates must bring Original Documents, Character Certificate from two Gazetted officers, and Police Clearance Certificate.
What are the General Conditions and Tenure Terms?
- This engagement is purely temporary, contractual, on Fixed Term Basis (initially ONE year, max FOUR years). It confers NO right to claim regular employment.
- Tenure based DBW personnel are entitled to Risk Allowance and Night Duty Allowance at par with regular employees if deployed in Night shift/similar work.
- Performance will be assessed half-yearly. Satisfactory performance grants an increment. Poor performance may lead to termination after a review period.
- Personnel will be covered under EPF and Employee's Compensation Act 1923.
- Tenure based personnel are NOT entitled to benefits like Promotions, OT Allowance, Loans, Medical Facilities, LTC/LTA, Study Leave, etc.
- They are eligible for Company Quarters/Accommodation if available.
