Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is conducting a recruitment drive for Medical Professionals to fill positions in their Industrial Health Center in Bangalore. This notification is for the recruitment of Doctors for Permanent Posts.

- Senior Medical Officer (ENT)
- Senior Medical Officer (Ortho)
How many vacancies are there?
There is 1 vacancy for Senior Medical Officer (ENT) and 1 vacancy for Senior Medical Officer (Ortho).
What are the educational qualification requirements?
The educational qualifications required for the posts are:
- For Senior Medical Officer (ENT): MBBS with MS/DNB (ENT) or MBBS with DLO.
- For Senior Medical Officer (Ortho): MBBS with MS/DNB (Ortho) or MBBS with D'Ortho.
What is the required post-qualification experience?
The post-qualification experience requirements are:
- For Senior Medical Officer (ENT): Nil experience required.
- For Senior Medical Officer (Ortho): 1 Year experience required.
Additionally, candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the next below grade or in an equivalent post (applicable for PSUs/Govt.). Experience gained after acquiring the requisite Professional Qualification will only be reckoned for the calculation of Post Professional Qualification Experience (PPQE). Experience prior to acquiring the requisite Professional Qualification Degree will not be reckoned.
What is the age limit for applicants?
The upper age limit is 35 years as on 01.03.2026. Age relaxation is applicable as follows:
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- 5 years for candidates ordinarily domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
- As per rules for Ex-Servicemen and Serving Officers of Armed Forces.
- The age should not exceed 56 years for PwBDs and 55 years for other candidates after all relaxations.
What is the salary structure?
The Scale of Pay is Rs. 50000 - 160000. Besides Basic Pay, candidates will be eligible for Variable Dearness Allowance, Rent Free Accommodation / House Rent Allowance, Provident Fund, Gratuity & Performance Related Pay (PRP), Non Practicing Allowance (NPA) etc. as per Company Rules. They will also be eligible for Perquisites and Allowances under the Cafeteria System (35% of Basic Pay).
What is the application fee?
The application fee is Rs. 500/-, which is non-refundable. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

What is the selection process?
Candidates will be shortlisted and called for Interview in the ratio of 1:10. Shortlisting will be based on relevant Experience/aggregate percentage of marks in MBBS. The selection will be done through Interview. Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo a pre-employment Medical Examination and verification of Caste, Character & Antecedents.
Where will the selected candidates be posted?
Selected candidates can be posted at HAL-IHC, Bangalore or any Division / R&D Center / Office of the Company. They will not be allowed to seek transfer for the initial three years of service.
What are the general conditions?
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
- Educational Qualification & Post Qualification Experience must be acquired as on 01st Mar 2026.
- Only Regular / Full Time qualifications are eligible.
- HAL reserves the right to modify/cancel the recruitment process.
- Candidates applying for more than one post must apply separately for each post.
- SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD/XSM/EWS candidates need to submit relevant certificates.
- Candidates employed in Government Departments/PSUs need to produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of Interview.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected.
- Appearance for the interview is provisional.
