What is the IIM Raipur Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2026?

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur has released a recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) on a fixed-term contract basis for a period of three years. This is a Group B, Non-Faculty position.

What are the educational qualification requirements?

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. / B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering from a recognised University or Institute with at least 60% marks or an equivalent grade.

What is the required experience?

Applicants must have a minimum of five (05) years of post-qualification relevant experience in the operation, maintenance, and management of electrical systems and infrastructure. Experience in Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (like IIMs, IITs, NITs, etc.) or autonomous Government educational institutions is preferred.

What is the age limit?

The maximum age limit is 35 years as on the last date of receipt of applications. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen/EWS candidates.

What is the salary package?

The selected candidate will receive consolidated emoluments equivalent to the minimum of Pay Level 8 (Basic Pay of Rs. 47,600/- per month) plus Dearness Allowance and other admissible allowances like HRA, Transport Allowance, etc.
