The National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS) is recruiting for the following statutory scientific positions on a direct recruitment basis:

Eligibility Criteria

• Scientist D:
  • Age: Maximum 50 years.
  • Education: Master's Degree in Geophysics/Applied Geophysics or B.E./B.Tech in relevant field with 60% marks.
  • Experience: 7 years of R&D experience in Earth System Sciences.
• Scientist B:
  • Age: Maximum 35 years.
  • Education: Master's Degree in Geology/Applied Geology/Geophysics/Marine Geophysics/Meteorology/Atmospheric Science with 60% marks.
  • Experience: Fresher (Experience preferred but not mandatory for Level 10).

Selection Process

• Initial screening of applications based on academic performance and experience.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal Interview.
• NCESS reserves the right to conduct a written test if the number of applicants is high.
