What is the NIT Calicut Registrar Recruitment 2026?

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Calicut has released an official notification for the recruitment of the Registrar post on a deputation (including short-term contract) basis. Candidates must have significant administrative experience, including:

• Holding an analogous post; OR
• At least 15 years of experience as an Assistant Professor (AGP 7000/- and above) or 8 years of service in AGP 8000/- and above, including 3 years of experience in educational administration; OR
• Comparable experience in research establishments or higher education institutions; OR
• 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years must be as a Deputy Registrar or equivalent (GP 7600/- or above).

What is the age limit?

The maximum age limit for applicants is 56 years.
