What is the SRFTI Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026?

The Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Govt. of India, has released a notification for the direct recruitment of an Assistant Professor in the Direction department. What are the educational qualification requirements?

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible:

• Essential: Degree from a recognized University.
• Essential: Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Film Direction or Film Production or equivalent from a recognized University or Institute.
• Essential: At least three years of professional experience as a Film Director or Film Producer and/or teaching experience in Film Direction or Film Production in a reputed organization or institution.
