What are the essential qualifications for a Career Counsellor?
To be eligible for the Career Counsellor position, you must have a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline. This degree should be from a recognized University/Institute and you need to have at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade point average.
What is the required experience for this role?
You need to have 07 years of relevant experience. This includes:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Psychometric test, Profiling, and full-time Career Counselling.
- It is also preferably that this experience is in an Educational/Career Counseling Center.
Are there any desirable qualifications or skills?
Yes, the following are considered desirable:
- Experience in group counselling and individual counselling.
- Certification in Career Counselling.
- 2 years of experience in Workshop management.
- Excellent communication skills are also required.
