About the Job
The Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC) is inviting applications for the post of Scientific Officer (C) (General Duty Medical Officer). This is a great opportunity for medical professionals looking to join a prestigious government organization under the Department of Atomic Energy.
Educational Qualification
To be eligible for the Scientific Officer (C) post, candidates must possess an M.B.B.S. degree from a recognized university. Additionally, a valid registration with the Medical Council of India is mandatory. The mandatory internship after M.B.B.S. will not be counted as experience.
Experience Required
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required after completion of M.B.B.S. The mandatory internship period is not considered as experience.
Age Limit
The age limit for the Scientific Officer (C) post is between 18 to 35 years as on the last date of submission of the online application. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale and Level
Selected candidates will receive a basic pay of Rs. 56,100 in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix. Allowances admissible to Central Government servants will also be provided, along with Non-Practicing Allowance.
Selection Process
The selection for the Scientific Officer (C) post will be based solely on the performance in the Personal Interview. However, if the number of applications is high, NFC reserves the right to conduct a Screening Test to shortlist candidates for the interview.
Application Fee
The application fee for the Scientific Officer (C) post is Rs. 500/-. SC/ST and Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
