  • Nurse (A): XII Standard and Diploma in Nursing & Mid-wifery (3 years course) OR B.Sc. (Nursing) OR Nursing 'A' Certificate with 3 years experience in Armed Force Hospital OR Nursing Assistant Class III & above from the Armed Forces. Valid registration as Nurse from any Central / State Nursing Council of India is mandatory. Minimum 60% marks in B.Sc. (Radiography).
  • Scientific Assistant (B) (Radiographer): Minimum 50% marks in B.Sc. and 1 year Diploma in Radiography OR B.Sc. with minimum 60% marks followed by post graduate Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) with minimum 60% marks OR B.Sc.(MLT) with minimum 60% marks.
  • Scientific Assistant (B) (Pathology Technician): Minimum 60% marks in B.Sc. (Radiography) OR Minimum 50% marks in B.Sc. and 1 year Diploma in Radiography.
  • Pharmacist (B): HSC (10+2) + 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy + 3 months Training in Pharmacy + Registration as a Pharmacist with Central or State Pharmacy Council.
  • Technician (B) (X-ray Technician): Minimum 60% in HSC (Science) and One year Medical Radiography / X-ray Technique Trade certificate from a recognized institution.

What is the selection process for NFC Recruitment 2026?

The selection process varies by post:

  • For Post Codes 12601, 12603 & 12604: Selection will be based on Personal Interview. NFC may conduct a Screening Test if the response is high.
  • For Post Codes 12602, 12605 & 12606: The selection process involves three stages: Stage 1 - Preliminary Test, Stage 2 - Advanced Test, and Stage 3 - Skill Test.

Method of Screening Test (if conducted): 75 multiple-choice questions, 3 marks for correct answer, 1 mark deducted for incorrect answer. Duration: 90 minutes.

Stage 1 - Preliminary Test: 50 Multiple Choice Questions (Mathematics: 20, Science: 20, General Awareness: 10). 3 marks for correct, 1 mark deducted for incorrect. Candidates scoring <40% (General) / <30% (Reserved) will be screened out.

Stage 2 - Advanced Test: 50 Multiple Choice Questions. 3 marks for correct, 1 mark deducted for incorrect. Duration: 2 hours. Candidates scoring <30% (General) / <20% (Reserved) will be screened out. Merit list will be based on Stage 2 scores.

Stage 3 - Skill Test: Based on the merit list from Stage 2. Conducted on a 'Go / No-Go' basis.
