What is the MECON Manager (Civil) Recruitment?

MECON Limited, a premier Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Steel, is hiring experienced professionals for the Manager (Civil) (E-3 grade) position. This is a regular scale of pay job opportunity for candidates with significant civil construction experience.

What is the minimum educational qualification required?

Candidates must possess a Full time (4 years) regular B.E. (Civil) or B. Tech (Civil) degree. Preference is given to graduates from Govt. Engineering Institutes falling under the category of 'Institute of National Importance' identified by the Ministry of Education. A post-graduate degree, diploma, or certificate in Construction Management is preferred.

What is the required work experience?

Applicants must have a minimum of 09 (Nine) years of Civil (except Structural Steel & Road) construction experience at site, preferably at an Industrial Plant.

What is the age limit and relaxation?

The upper age limit is 36 years as of 10-03-2026. Age relaxation is provided as per Govt. of India guidelines (3 years for OBC-NCL, 5 years for SC, and additional relaxations for PwD and J&K domicile candidates). Further, 1 year of age relaxation is provided for every 1 year of additional experience, up to a maximum of 3 years, provided the total age does not exceed 52 years.

How is the selection process conducted?

The selection mode is a Personal Interview of provisionally shortlisted candidates. Shortlisting is based on the scrutiny of applications against the information and supporting documents provided at the time of online submission.
