What is the Rehabilitation Officer post at NIEPID?

The Rehabilitation Officer is a regular, direct recruitment position under the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (NIEPID). This role focuses on providing vocational training and guidance to Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).

What is the minimum educational qualification required?

Candidates must possess a Post Graduate degree in Social Work, Rehabilitation Work, Sociology, or Psychology (or equivalent) from a recognized University. Additionally, candidates must hold a DVTE (MR) or DVR (MR) qualification.

Is there any experience required for this job?

Yes, candidates must have at least six (6) years of experience in vocational training and guidance as a Social Worker or in other related fields of rehabilitation of PwDs.
