What is the NIEPID Recruitment 2026?

The National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (NIEPID) has released an official notification (Employment Notice No. 02/2026) to fill various regular, deputation, and contract-based positions at its Secunderabad headquarters and regional centers in Navi Mumbai, Noida, and Kolkata.

What are the educational qualification requirements?

• Rehabilitation Officer: Post graduate degree in Social Work / Rehabilitation Work / Sociology / Psychology or equivalent with DVTE (MR) / DVR (MR) + 6 years experience.
• Accounts Officer: Degree of a recognized University + 5 years experience as Section Officer (Audit & Accounts), Jr. Accounts Officer, etc.
• Driver: 10th Pass + Valid HMV driving license + 3 years experience.
• Catering Assistant: Matriculation or Equivalent + 2 years catering experience.
• Deputy Director (Administration): Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations / Management / Public Administration / Arts / Science / Commerce + 10 years experience.

Candidates must download the prescribed application form from the official website. The filled application, along with self-attested copies of certificates and a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (in favor of Director, NIEPID, Secunderabad), must reach the Director, NIEPID, Manovikasnagar, Secunderabad-500009 by 11.05.2026. SC/ST/Women/PH candidates are exempted from the application fee.

What is the selection process?

The selection for Group 'A' posts follows NIEPID/GoI norms. For Group 'B' and 'C' posts, selection is based on merit as per criteria approved by the Ministry, dispensing with interviews as per DOPT instructions.

• Age, qualifications, and experience are reckoned as of the last date of receipt of applications (11.05.2026).
